Livigno is a small mountain village nestled in the Alps, on the border with Switzerland. With its 6,458 inhabitants and its more than 1,800 meters above sea level, Livigno is the most populated town with the highest altitude in our country. Temperatures are always relatively low compared to the rest of the country, which is why Livigno is the ideal place for an escape from the summer heat of our cities. In this country, winter begins earlier than in the rest of Italy: already in October it is common to witness the first snowfalls, which often appear even in August, surprising tourists and giving winter glimpses during the summer season.
